Month at a Glance: September 2010

This is the first post of a series in which I will preview upcoming music releases and other interests of the next month.

The 2nd weekend of September's looking to be a busy one, September 14th alone brings 3 major albums:

Linkin Park's fourth album, A Thousand Suns

Weezer's eighth album, Hurley, set to be released
less than a year after their previous album, Raditude

Flamingo, the debut solo album of Brandon Flowers, better known
as the lead singer for The Killers

I'm excited for all three of those albums, though I predict Linkin Park's to be the best, the lead single, The Catalyst, really grew on me, and if it's a sign of what's to come on the rest of the album, it should be great.  Speaking of that song, check out the 'making of' video, looks like an epic music video to me, full thing comes out tomorrow, so we'll see soon enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2k69RXWHFro&feature=sub

Other notable mentions are a new album by The Script and cover albums by both Peter Gabriel and Santana (who will have different guest vocalists for each song) .

Seems to be all for now, check back later for updates and new posts.

Debut Post

Just decided to start this blog on the advice of my sister, I'll mainly focus on music, reviewing, commenting, discussing, and other such things, but I may end up venturing into some other subjects. So this is the Grand Opening of Moving In Music, lets see how it goes.
